Apricity seemed fitting for its name, since the snow outside had vanished as quickly as it fell a few weeks ago. We're back to a mild +7C and sunny and I can send the kids out wearing shorts (which is only partly a joke. Apparently, it's boiling!) while enjoying wearing my light and delicate beret.
The hat is worked in Manos Fino (UK link) that's absolutely gorgeous. Gorgeous enough to say it twice as it seems. I both, loved working with it and love the fabric it produced - buttery and smooth with just the right amount of sheen. It behaves very much like a singles merino, knitting up fast, but feels like silk. You won't want to take it off.
