Shorty Bucket hat - done!

P8190014  Perfectly round crown

P8190008  Neat edges

P8190006  Nice fit

P8190002  Ta-Da!

Knitted on 5.5mm needles with only one ball of RYC Soft tweed, it was a real quickie. The ball band suggested 12sts/10cm (4in) tension on 8mm needles, but whichever size needles I tried I got exactly the same tension of 16sts/ 10cm. Have no idea why. The hat is worked in a round bottom up, the crown is worked separately from the centre and then they are joined together with 3 needle bind off.
